As what may be the strangest and longest year of everyone’s life draws to a conclusion, what better way to end it than with a few of my favorite purchases? The *add to cart* therapy was REAL this year, but with it came a few things that made those package delivery days a bit brighter. Here are my faves:

Teva Original Universal Sandals
It was love at first step. How I have lived my whole life without these is beyond me, but I found myself reaching for these sandals for EVERYTHING in the last 12 months. As someone that is constantly getting a blister or turning an ankle, these were absolutely life-changing and have provided nothing but comfort on long walks. I can’t wait to take them on vacation!

Booty by Brabants Croco Skin Leggings
Another item that has me saying: where has this been all my life? But really, these leggings are life-changing. They are comfortable enough to wear all day with enough support and compression to feel confident in – yes, even if you are just lounging on the couch.

Lou & Grey Signaturesoft Plush Upstate Sweatpants
These are part of my daily uniform. I have them in multiple colors and they are so incredibly soft and comfy. Bonus points that they are trendy-enough to wear with a cute top and pass as a socially acceptable outfit!

Kitsch Microfiber Towel Scrunchie
I received one of these as a gift over the summer without ever hearing about it before. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. As someone with long hair who hates blow drying, this scrunchie was a game-changer. It cuts my dry-time down significantly and makes me feel much better about taking care of my hair because it also cuts down on the normal breakage I’d get by wrapping it in a towel.

Face masks, but make it fashion. Right? I’ve tried so many different masks and styles, but keep coming back to these ones. They fit my face perfectly and are snug even without a nose-piece. I also love that they have a pocket for a filter and a cute ruffle edge!

After week one of quarantine it was clear that my daily makeup routine was a thing of the past. In an effort to put in the least amount of effort possible while also looking mildly put-together for zoom meetings, I purchased this on a whim. It has since replaced my daily moisturizer and gives me that subtle coverage so that I don’t feel like a ghost or rock an uneven skin tone all day long.

I will never call vacuuming fun, but this little stick vacuum has made it more enjoyable than lugging around the old monstrosity we had prior to it. I am constantly amazed at how easy it is to grab and clean up even the smallest mess. Who knew that a cordless vacuum would change the cleaning game so significantly?

Baking was a major part of these last few months. Once the weather got even the slightest bit chilly, I was stocking up the freezer with cookie dough for the winter. There’s something so comforting about having pre-made dough ready to pop in the oven at a moment’s notice. Instead of scooping by hand, this little gadget made it super easy to have dough of all the same size so everything cooks consistently.

Such a tiny little appliance made such a huge difference in my morning routine! I used to treat myself to a fun coffee once a week on the way to work, but without my commute I’ve just been making the same brew from home each day. This little guy adds so much to my morning cup, and I can’t wait to try it on hot cocoa!

We have about one million blankets, but I spend nearly every day/afternoon/night curled up under this thing and it is so warm and cozy. I have the extra large and it is plenty big for two, but I mostly just use it for myself unless I am feeling extra share-y!
